An 18th century crest bookplate for Philip Wodehouse.
Philip Wodehouse, 1745-1811, 2nd son of Sir Armine Wodehouse, 5th Bart; Prebendary of Norwich Cathedral; Married 1775 Apollonia, daughter and co-heiress of John Nourse of Woodeaton, Oxon.
Direct ancestor of Sir P G Wodehouse.
The title "Rev" has been added by a contemporary hand.
Condition: Good.
Framed in matt black.
