Item Description
Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1967 by Kenneth Tyler Key this contemporary Elizabeth II sterling silver jug is of the distinctive 'Jersey jug' form. The jug features a globular body, a hinged domed lid with a carrying loop, and a wicker-covered handle. The front of the jug is engraved with a crest of a lion rampant and the motto "Audaces Fortuna Juvat" (Fortune Favours the Brave). It measures 7.5"(19cm) tall by 6.5"(16.5cm) from handle to spout and 4.75"(12cm) deep, and weighs 13.8 troy ounces.
