Superb hand engraved bronze & enamel armorial plate,
bearing the BANNERMAN coat of arms.
Possible a stall plate for a church.
Inscibed C.G.Broadis march 16th 1927.
Sir Alexander Bannerman 1871-1934 was a pioneering balloonist who oversaw the beginnings of the Royal Air Force.
A C.G Broadis Sergeant RAF,was held prisoner
at the Hiroshima P.O.W camp in Japan during WWII.
