Hallmarked in London in 1786 by Hester Bateman, this attractive, Neoclassical, Antique Sterling Silver Soup Ladle, or Punch Ladle, features a shell bowl, and an engraved crest to the handle. The soup ladle measures 14.25"(36.5cm) in length, and weighs 5.7 troy ounces.
