Item Description

Hallmarked in London in 1813 by Joseph Biggs, this charming George III, Antique Sterling Silver Argyll, has a cylindrical body standing on a platform base, with a gadroon border.

The handle has a wicker cover and the hot water chamber is accessed through a hinged cover on the opposite side to the spout. The argyll measures 6.5"(16.5cm) tall, by 5.5"(14cm) from handle to edge, by 5.5"(14cm) from spout to edge and weighs 11.8 troy ounces.
