Item Description
Hallmarked in London in 1766 by Charles Frederick Kandler, this striking, George III, Antique Sterling Silver Soup Tureen, features gadroon borders, ornate feet and handles, and is engraved with a coat of arms to the body and crest to the lid. The soup tureen measures 8"(20.5cm) tall, by 15"(38.5cm) wide, and weighs 95.4 troy ounces.
Kandler's work can be seen in the Hermitage Museum, the Ashmolean Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
