Item Description

An elegant Queen Anne Britannia silver porringer with twin S-scroll handles and a scroll cartouche. The cartouche is engraved with the original armorials of the Metcalf family of Ireland.
The porringer has a ropework girdle and gadrooning to the base. It is in superb condition.
Dimensions: height 10 cm; weight 8.95 troy oz.
Provenance: Crest is the Arms of Metcalf of Ireland.
