Item Description

This charming little Georgian silver salt spoon has been gilded inside the bowl as is frequently done to prevent damage to the silver. The bowl has a nice oval shape, and the crest is unusual and rather fun: a cockerel with two elephant trunks either side. The spoon is in good condition with a small pinpoint 'ding' to the bowl. This type of salt spoon can be used for a variety of condiments and not just salt. `A useful gift or addition to your collection.
