Item Description

These are a great knife and fork that were especially commissioned with a private flatware die that incorporated the family crest. The crest is raised up (rather than engraved) and depicts an eagle atop a heron and knight's helmet. The flatware pattern is akin to King's with subtle variations on the standard pattern.

The knife retains its original carbon steel blade and was made by William Eaton. The fork is hallmarked London 1865 by George Adams of Chawmer & Company.

Fork: 180mm long; 57g. Knife: 265mm long; 116g
