Item Description

an unusual Continental silver gilt "Historismus" triangular salt in Renaissance revival style profusely chased and decorated throughout with cherubs, masks, animals, fruit and foliage. With central well within bead edge border. Resting on three feet modelled as stooping bearded dwarfs. A cast silver gilt salt spoon with dwarf terminal en suite.
