A 19th century armorial bookplate for Sir James D. Marwick.
Sir James David Marwick, 1826-1908, Scottish lawyer, author and Town Clerk of Glasgow for 31 years, during which time he oversaw a transformation of the city. His son founded a firm of Accountants.
Condition: Very good.
Framed in matt black.
