An 18th century armorial bookplate for Charles Hurt.

The arms are those of the prominent family of Peak district gentry, the Hurts of Alderwasley, Derbyshire and Castern, Staffordshire. Burkes Landed Gentry records several members of the family with the christian name, Charles in the 18th century.

Condition: Good.

Framed in matt black.
