The Selsdon Family Crest

Sir Malcom Mitchell-Thomson 4th Bt., 3rd Baron Selsdon. The Baronetcy was created in 1900 for Mitchell Thomson (later Mitchell-Thomson) 1846-1918, 4th son of Andrew Thomson and his wife, Janet, daughter of William Mitchell, the founder of the Alloa Coal Company. The 2nd Bt, Sir William Lowson Mitchell-Thomson, a Conservative politician was created 1st Baron Selsdon of Croydon, Surrey in 1932.
