Frederick John Burnaby-Atkins of Tolethorpe Hall, Stamford, Rutland and formerly of Halstead Place, Kent; Lt. Col. The Black Watch; b. 1920 and m.1951 Hon Anne Lawrence, yst dau of 3rd Baron Trevethin and Oaksey and has issue. Descended from the Burnabys of Baggrave Hall, co. Leicester and grandson of Thomas Frederick Burnaby-Atkins who had assumed by Royal Licence in 1872 the name and arms of his uncle, John Pelly Atkins of Halstead Place, upon succeeding to his estate.
