Item Description

A delightful matched set of four antique George III silver salts, all made by John Denziloe(w) of London. The set consists of two pairs – one pair dated 1793 and the other 1795.
Each salt is of octagonal navette form with a moulded edge. There is a fine wriggle engraved border at top of each salt which is repeated on the base. Each salt has a gilt interior.
The set is engraved with the crest for Thornton.
