Item Description

As nice and heavy a set of four-tined mid-eighteenth century Georgian silver table forks as anyone could ask for. This set is engraved with a lovely crest. The marks can be discerned by reading the best punch from any one particular fork. There is one fork in the set with marks that have been almost completely rubbed away from generations of polishing. Nevertheless, this is a rare and wonderful set of eating implements that are a pleasure to hold in the hand. Length: 18cm (7 1/8 inches)
