Item Description

This is a fine quality Georgian silver basting spoon made by arguably the most accomplished of the famous Bateman family of silversmiths. The spoon bears a superb engraved lion crest to the front terminal and has a good, hefty feel in the hand. The condition is fabulous with a thick bowl tip, a fine patina and a clear set of hallmarks. A stunning serving spoon.
