Item Description

Attractive Victorian sterling silver sugar spoon. Newcastle 1856 by Reid & Sons. The spade-shaped bowl is waisted half way down. The stem is Old English in shape but has a line of engraving along the edge on either side and the end of the stem is decorated with a typical Victorian scroll design. The uppermost scrolls form a cartouche enclosing the contemporary engraved initials WSD. The hallmarks are stamped on the back of the end of the stem and are very crisp indeed
Condition :-Very good indeed with excellent hallmarks
