A decorator’s dream, this striking sterling silver vase is truly chic! Made by premier American silversmiths Tiffany & Co. this large silver vase has adopted the form of a porcelain ginger jar. The vase is in excellent condition overall, it measures approx. 12 1/2” high, its opening is approx. 4” in diameter, and it weighs approx. 54 troy ounces. It is marked under the base with the mark of Tiffany & Co., the words Makers, Sterling Silver 925-1000, pattern number 17134 (introduced in 1908), order number 8169, and the letter M for John C. Moore, Tiffany’s president from 1907-1947. The beautiful proportions and stylish design of this vase capture the stylishness of Art Moderne style.
