This is a handsome sterling silver loving cup in a lovely Art Nouveau design. This elegant loving cup features a flaring cylindrical low-bellied body with three dramatically curved handles with organic bulges and tapering ends. The shaped rim is decorated with a border of scrolls, flowers and shell cartouches. This loving cup is in excellent condition, and has not been monogrammed though it could be engraved. This piece is beautifully crafted from heavy guage silver, and measures approx. 6" high, its opening is approx. 5 1/2" in diameter, and it weighs approx. 18 troy ounces. It is marked under the base with the maker's mark of B.S.C., the word Sterling, pattern number 36. This beautiful antique silver loving cup captures the uniqueness of Art Nouveau design and would make a distinction addition to any silver collection.
